  3. Hi guys 🙏🏼 is it possible to edit in your locations on a map ? There’s so many prefectures and things to see and do , I keep changing my itinerary for my 2023 ( April) trip , thanks guys 👍🏼

  4. I love your videos. I’d love to visit Japan 🇯🇵 someday. Such a beautiful country rich with history.

  5. What a perfect day! A balanced combination of seeing new and impressive sights, eating beautifully prepared and delicious local foods, and walking enough to work off the calories and get the benefits of exercising outside. 😊 I'm sure you slept well after your long day, and it's clear you both enjoyed it. Hooray! 🙌 Love you both. ❤❤

  6. I like each Place you stopped. Helping out businesses that are not that well-known is a good thing.

  7. Thank you for sharing this relaxing video. And I love how Matsue city looks, and how well many aspects have been preserved. I really hope to be able to visit one day.

  8. I can visit Japan through your videos! I always have a snack whenever I watch them. The supper you had looked so good. Thank you!

  9. Last time I went to Matsue was in the late 70's! I read Lafcadio Hearn's book of obake stories–very entertaining.

  10. LOL When Satoshi was saying he bought the bara pan and said it a few times in a row I thought he was singing trumpet music. I thought he’d bought Shinichi a trumpet. Then he said “rose bread” and I figured out it was “bara pan”.

  11. I love the jizo statues at the lake!!!! and the katsu rice looks delicious, but perhaps a little too much sauce for me 🙂

  12. I hope to get to Japan someday. I haven’t gone farther than France yet.

  13. Every time I get a notification for one of the TabiEats channels, it sparks joy! 🎇

  14. i really enjoyed your video ha but i dont think i can make it up those temple stairs i would be huffing n puffing that tonkatsu dish looked great

  15. You're making me cry with this video! I lived in Yonago and I miss it SO MUCH. These videos are just killing my homesickness. Matsue was where a friend of mine lived so I went there occasionally. We'd also go to the beach, dunes, all the beautiful water of the Japan Sea. I want to be back in my apartment down from the train station overlooking the main street where I could see the Matsuri lantern competition each summer. I want to go back to the beautiful white marble French coffee shop by the train station too. And the park to see the fireworks…

  16. I came here a few years ago! Unfortunately I was a bit too reserved with my funds and wasn't able to enjoy as much as I could have. I hope to be able to come back and enjoy it to the fullest next time

  17. I was just in Matsue! Wish I knew about Y's Kitchen, I definitely would have paid a visit.

  18. What an excellent intro Matsue. We've haven't visited that part of Japan before, so it's another place we'll have to add to the bucket list. The castle and city reminds me a little of Himeji – except for all the water 😁
As usual it was a joy to spend this time with you guys!

  19. Satoshi, we love sunsets too. They're like the perfect way to end the day. And also, the colors!! 🌇🌆 WOw, that Katsu Seto looks divine!! 🤤 It's currently 8am and wanting to find a place to grab this here in San Francisco today. 🤣😂 Sinichi, how do you like using a mike while filming? I was thinking about obtaining one to use but unsure of what to get. Do you use a wireless with a phone? #Curious No sunset but it's okay love your energy ✨✨ What a great way to end the evening@@ The restaurant was quiet and it was like an intimate time spent with y'all! Love the jazz music you used. Fit perfectly. #CremeBruleePears So there's this ice cream shop here in SF called Salt N Straw and they have a blue cheese and pear flavored ice cream. Most think it's strange but its🔥🔥

  20. Our of curiosity- with your love of coffee, have you ever had any Japanese-grown coffees? I’ve heard of a couple of the Izu islands (south of Oshima) having a couple plantations.

  21. Shinichi and Satoshi, I'd love to see this place someday….but both my feet were amputated, and I doubt I could get around very well, especially in the castle. Am I right?

  22. Hey guy! I just got out of the hospital and back to the homeless life so I haven't eaten in over a day. Food looks delicious!! Sending much love from Florida.

  23. I love to see all the food you eat since many are ones I have not ever heard of before–I live in the mid-west area of the USA.

  24. A lot of great things to see. I love the architecture of the castle. Really beautiful. Wow, what a view. You always find amazing looking foods, it's making me hungry, lol. The houses are cute too. I like that you share places that are off the beaten path. Another interesting video, thanks for sharing it. 😊

  25. Lunch was good but your dinner for once looked and sounded disgusting, that is one place sure to avoid if they are still in business when I visit in two years

  26. My daughter and I went to Matsue Castle in 2019 and yes the stairs are steep , going up is fine and coming down the wonderful attendants helped by stopping every one with a call of "obasan" and gave me time. I'm over 70, use a stick and have failing eyesight but would not have missed it. I still hope to return to Japan one day as it is the best country in the world for the elderly to travel to.

  27. You just brought Matsue to life for me with your descriptions of everything you've encountered with us. I might not be able to visit Japan as soon as I'd like, but you have definitely highlighted places I want to visit when I do get there. Your meal at the end was spectacular and the fine dining you enjoyed was so affordable. Kudos to the Chef. Thanks for sharing Matsue with us! I can't wait to visit Japan myself and now I have another gorgeous destination to add to the places I must see.
Cheers from the Niagara Region in 🇨🇦

  28. You two are easy to love.
    👍 Awesome channel.
