    This is a great combination. I think with the 85 for details and GR for context you can really direct a story across multiple images.

    I spent a month in Osaka and I only used a 75 — looking back I have tonnes of great details and portraits of highly isolated things, but I regret not having the clutter too. In the moment I didn't think about it because I could see it all with my eyes, and thought I would remember how it was, and why I picked my subject from that noise. I don't remember how it was at all. All that extra context I took for granted in the moment is now very valuable to me and I don't have it.

    I like my photos, and I loved them immediately in the moment, but I think the GR works in reverse — I like the photos at first, but love them later. I really wish I had my GR and that insight back then. I can almost guarantee that my top 5 favourite photos from the time would have been all GR photos. It usually works that way in hindsight. Of course any wide angle can work too, I just like small cameras.
