That was quick, in this next episode of my travel series – I depart Singapore headed to my next destination, Kuala Lumpur. Most people would choose to fly because KL is only 390km away. Did you know there are a whole host of coach services you can utilise as well? It ranges from the mundane to the crazy luxurious decked out ones like the one I’m on.

Wow!! It's time for me to visit KL soon. I will bring along extra food/snack too. Thank you for this vid. Enjoy!
Toilet inside bus? Lol
I have tried many of the coach trips to KL between 2000 to 2009, and the most luxurious one is this particular one, of course. However, the standards have gone up so much. I truly enjoy it, and I wish to do it again later.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Where do we book tis
When do you filmed it? How long is the riding from SIN-KUL? Everybody wishes that in future there would be a high-speed train travelling from SIN direct to KUL so that it would be fast, comfortable, smooth & relaxing just like the China's High-Speed Train travelling around places in China.
It is true that there are no direct trains from Singapore to KL, but to say they all depart after 11 pm, I don't know where you got your information from. The only train that departs that late is the Eastern Orient Express, and I don't think you will want to take that train. The price of the ticket is not worth it. But as you mentioned, yes ,you will have to take more than one train from Singapore to KL. First the train to Johor Bahru. The trains depart on an hourly basis beginning from 6 am. You cannot buy tickets in advance. You go to the railway station, buy the ticket and board the train. At JB, you can then buy a train ticket to Gemas. The earliest train leaves JB at 8:30 am and reaches Gemas at 1:15 pm.. You can then take the ETS from Gemas which departs Gemas at 3: 20 pm and reaches KL at 8 pm. Considering the total time taken, which would be at least 12 hours, it would be much faster to take a bus from Singapore. which takes only 6 hours, less if you are lucky, although some bus companies may claim they take a much lesser time, but from my experience, the last time being just last month, having travelled numerous times, none have ever delivered on this claim. And I am talking about travelling on a weekday during off peak hours, like the bus leaving Singapore at 9:45 am. Delays at the immigration is a normal affair. SGD $60 is a pretty good price for a luxury coach. Thanks for sharing
Another rip snorter video Ryan. Well done
Do you still need a Malaysian visa to enter or if you already have singapore visa the transit would be seemless. Please advise
Nice to see u here n expect to know howuch bus fare send the all road details n custom operations tks
must try .. Ming chung rest.
at Maude road.
Oh is it areoline coach, they only travel to kl, $50 single trip include meal inside coach, with toilet inisde the coach
Sorry is aeroline coach, at harbour frontb
Very luxurious coach
Aeroline coach got toilet inside the coach
Aeroline also include meal,
Looks comfortable
I did KL-SIN, SIN-KL twice….. in 2011 and 2013….. but with Aeroline
Kl is still the capital city of malaysia. It has not moved anywhere.
Whereas the new putrajaya is the government administration center.
Really awesome video to watch to unwind after a busy day! The reason why there isn't any direct train is because the Malaysian side kept changing their stance when it comes to building the high speed rail between SG and MY.
🤣 return trip ticket only 77 bucks!!!! My time more valuable then 17 dollars!!!
i remember ive went to malaysia twice from singapore to malacca and KL a few years ago and its nostalgic to see tuas and malaysia checkpoint
No I wouldn’t. Bcos for the price I would just need to top up a bit for a direct short flight to KLIA.
Years ago, I took the cheap bus to KL and the luxury bus back to SG. It was a world of difference, but a great experience.
Next time, I’ll try to drive.
Sangat menarik
For the info of other viewers, there are bathrooms at the immigration complex on both the SG and Malaysia side, so make sure to clear your bladders before re-boarding the bus! (If u are afraid the bus would leave without u, let the driver know first)
Road trips are subject to road conditions.
The journey was scenic and comfortable
Sadly you experienced two hiccups Turing four into seven hours which defeats the purpose.
I would take the trip with fingers crossed 🤞
😜🤪😜
Excellent English. Great tour.
I did before and it was nice….from Woodland in Singapore to Johor Baru in Legoland day tour first…then Night Coach Luxury from JB to KL..arrived early in the morning stayed in Petronas Tower first….then stayed one night in Hotel Imperial in Bukit Bintang ,KL and toured around and eat in the night popular Street Food in Jalan Alor and in the morning road an MTR and then a Bus to station to go up in a cable car going up to Genting Highlands and stayed in hotel there for 2 days then after a bus straight from Genting to Kl then Luxury Coach again to Singapore in Admirality and then MTR to Woodlands…in time for the next day…Christmas day spent it on Sentosa Island….Universal Studio where to our surprise there are lots of tourist and especially local tourist for a Chrismas day holiday which ironic in our country Christmas day is celebrated more at home with family with relatives. In Singapore time to spend it outside with the family. Missed Singapore and Malaysia.
Where are you from? How come you speak so well!
Great👍👍
Try aeroline bus more comfort
No, because I have to load my own luggage.
Express coaches were allowed to alight at Berjaya Times Square Hotel main lobby.
This looks a great way to get from Singapore to KL! We took MRT, then Causeway bus to JB where we picked up a hertz rental iMax. Drive and ate our way around Msia. JB/Malacca/KL/Cameron via coastal route/Ipoh/Penang/Kelantan/Terranganu/TAman Negara NP/Pahang/Mersing/JB/Singapore.3 weeks 3 couples all hiking buddies. Loads of fun!
Nice one Ryan. Very entertaining review. I might try it.
