白駒池の紅葉見頃Japan Nagano Shirakoma Pond



日本で最高地に位置する標高2115メートルの白駒池の周辺の紅葉が見ごろを迎えました。
苔と紅葉が美しい神秘の原生林は国道299号メルヘン街道沿い麦草峠の近くに位置し街道沿いの駐車場から徒歩15分程で白駒池まで行かれます。また池の周りの原生林はもののけ姫の森に似ていることからもののけの森と呼んでいます。
例年に比べると白駒池の紅葉は一週間程遅く見頃を迎えました。

The autumn foliage around Shirakoma Pond, which is located at the highest altitude of 2115 meters in Japan, has reached its peak.
A mysterious virgin forest with beautiful moss and autumn leaves is located near Mugigusa Pass along National Highway 299 Fairy Tale Road, and you can reach Shirakoma Pond in about 15 minutes on foot from the parking lot along the road. Also, the virgin forest around the pond resembles the forest of Princess Mononoke, so it is called the forest of Mononoke.
The autumn foliage of Shirakoma Pond reached its peak a little later than usual.
