SCRIPT:
It’s not everyday that you get to live out a childhood dream. I’m not sure if it’s the history, the food, the pop culture, or the fact that Nintendo helped raise me, but for whatever reason, Japan has captured my heart and imagination for as long as I could remember
So what do you do when you find yourself with three weeks to spend in a place you’ve always wanted to visit? You explore the hell out of it… and for us that meant spending several days in Tokyo before heading south on a path that would take us through the cities of Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, and Hiroshima. There was no time to waste, so we hit the ground running.
Tokyo Skytree: The main observation deck of this massive tower has a capacity of 2000 people… which meant that we only had to wait in line for about 15 minutes before heading up. Depending on your budget, getting up here can be a little pricey, but it’s well worth it if you want to get a true sense of the vastness that is the Tokyo metropolis. It’s also a great place to come if you’re a science fiction movie fan… since the views of the city will remind you of every sci-fi movie you’ve ever loved simultaneously. Which will likely cause your brain to overload as you bombard your significant other with an endless stream of Blade Runner and Akira references
Print Club: YES! I was so excited to finally cheese it up at a Purikura or puri for short. A Puri is a japanese photo booth that let’s you turn your photos into overly processed bug-eyed sticker keepsakes. Since their debut in 1995, they’ve become a super popular activity for lots of young people in Japan, especially high school girls… which basically guarantees that Noah was the first bearded old guy to step through these doors. At any rate, it was so much fun dragging him all over Akihabara as I indulged in all the Japanese pop culture I could handle. This is what love looks like.

What an awesome video! Thanks for the tour 🙂 I would subscribe multiple times if I could! May I ask you where you got that sitar-like sound that you use for example @4:32? Superb editing too, just wow!
So jealous. Would love to go to Japan! Love the starting sequence 👍🏻

Last June, we went there to Asukusa with my relatives to enjoy the view through Buddha temple. We've almost catch up to the Tokyo Tower, however our time beckons over Akihabara where Club Sega, Taito Game Station, and mostly Hey Entertainment are the superior arcade centers we've ever enjoyed. ^^
LOVE THIS! I have been trying to find worth-while vlogs and yours is one of the best. I am planning a trip next year, so if you have any tips, please let me know 🙂
I watched the whole exploring Japan videos. I have to say that I really enjoyed watching it. it's also a dream of mine to visit Japan. I do have a few questions though.
how do they treat foreigners? Is it difficult to engage in conversation when English is all you know?
how was the transit?
how expensive is the stuff there?
and 1 last question. I don't like asking cause I know some people are sensitive to this. how much did this whole trip cost ya?
can you take me next time? haha.
Found the channel today and indulged in your videos. I love the japan trip, circumstances have prevented my actually going so far but next year is my time.
The content, delivery and entertainment is great, thank you very much.

Haha awesome! You guys are great.
Whats that willy wonka remix naame?
I don't know why it took me so long to watch this series! This video was amazing. So sad you guys missed out on 100 yen sushi, but it looks like you got to plenty 😉 I got lost in Japan a lot, but without my friends, I would have gotten soooo much more lost haha. The train system STARTED to make sense to me on my 6th day in Tokyo.
Was this multiple days or did you just have a jam packed day of crazy awesomeness?
When is part 2??? I hoping that you do a series much like your Vietnam episodes. They were so informative and fun to watch. We've spoken before but I can't tell you how helpful your Vietnam series was for me on my trip there this past fall where I met up with Mr. Uyen…..but I digress….Japan! Im heading tback to Tokyo ( I had a 4 day layover for my Viet trip) and plan to see Japan for a month in November this year. Im looking forward to your Japan series as I really enjoyed the write up you guys did on your facebook account about your experiences. Cheers and Happy Travels!
Hope y'all come visit me next time y'all are in Tokyo Town.
Take care friendo.
Tokyo Joe.

I have watched the South Korea. Japan, China, Hong Kong, Mongolia and your thailand videos. They are very interesting to watch. right now I am watching your vietnam videos right now. I Used to live in Tacoma once few blocks by Point Defiance park. i got a question for you between the Space Needle and the Tokyo Sky-tree which one do you think is taller. Those two landmarks seem to have a lot in common. I have never been to the Tokyo Sky-tree before but it seems to me it is more packed then the Space Needle.
Japan is my dream destination. I love you and Lynnie – you make me laugh
great video. awesome remix at the end.
Teddy bear? Are you kidding?
