東京から大阪まで、一般道を使って車で行くとどれくらいの時間がかかるのか？ 実際にドライブしてみました。
出発地は、東京都港区芝浦。
到着地は大阪府西成区南開にある駐車場です。
通常、高速道路で行くと約６時間かかります。（夜中で渋滞のない場合。）
一般道だと、どれくらいで着くんでしょうか？
Google Mapでルート検索してみると、どうやら一般道では１２時間半かかるようです。高速道路を使った場合の倍の時間がかかりますね。 しかも、休憩なしの時間なので、途中でトイレ休憩や給油をしているとその分到着が遅くなります。
Googleナビの到着予想時刻は、渋滞なども考慮して算出しているのか意外と正確です。
おそらく、グーグルのデータベースにある膨大な量の走行データから算出しているのでしょうか。
今回は、Googleナビに案内されるがままのルートで、東京から大阪まで一般道で行ってきました。
Googleマップ（ナビ）の経路オプションは「高速道路を使わない」「有料道路を使わない」で設定します。途中で給油とトイレ休憩を２回とります。
さあ、旅犬の”INU”と一緒にドライブスタートです。
How long does it take to drive from Tokyo to Osaka using ordinary roads? We actually took a drive.
Normally, it takes about 6 hours to get there by highway. (If it is midnight and there is no traffic.)
I searched the route on Google Maps and apparently it takes 12.5 hours by ordinary road. That is double the time it would take if we took the expressway. Moreover, since the time is without a break, if you have to take a restroom break or refuel along the way, your arrival will be delayed by that amount.
The route options in Google Maps (navigation system) are set to “no expressway” and “no toll road”.
Along the way, there will be two stops for restroom breaks and refueling.(approx. 10 minutes)
