This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that’s the way I like it!

Been to Raffles, it was great. Haven't try this hotel or Park Hyatt, also The Langham just opened for 1 year at least.
Thanks again for video
Wonderful video my friend. I'm your fan+👍🔔
Thanks for the tour. This hotel has a great pool, although small. Did you find out why FS previous Jakarta hotel closed? Don't think I have ever stayed at a Four Seasons anywhere in the world, although I did stay at the Nam Hai in Vietnam before it was acquired. I like the brand though, despite its premium price point.
So happy with another review! My husband and I will retire next year in Bali and want to spend some years travelling in The Far East. Your channel is THE PERFECT guide in making our plans. Thank you for all your hard work and informative videos, much appreciated! 🙏🏼
Kevin, I live in Jakarta, I would sugget – and guide you – to the Langham or Kempinski Hotel Jakarta. I think you'll find them quite interesting and very convenient for western travellers.
Thanks
Hai mate you will find a tight security is a normalty in jakarta due to the previous terrorist accident many years ago.
By the way, thank you for pointing out the “noise bleed from the hallway“ issue. Light sleepers/just plain fussy visitors like me, want to know about such things. How was the noise level – otherwise – that is, regarding traffic noise or nearby restaurants, etc.? Were the rooms quiet aside from the hallway noises?
“Wild hyenas are likely bathed more frequently” 😂 Man, I love your sense of humor!
Wild Hyenas! 😂
Kevin quick question, when we in Bali which one you more prefer, stay in Hotel or Villa? Thks man
Marvelous. Your commentary is on point and perceptive.
Even the old Four Seasons Jakarta was better and bigger than this one. I couldn't comprehend why did they close that luxurious hotel.
Wow, they use complimentary Oasis plastic water bottle at FS rooms? That brand is cheapy deepy..whats going on? Budget cuts? Next try the fairmont
Shocked to see that parts of the hotel are actually a Bill Bensly design. My first ever encounter with his design was the stunning Intercontinental resort in Danang. But this? Really disappointing 😞
Well done video and interesting property. I noticed from watching an older video when you first started narrating them that you have increased your confidence level significantly and video quality which is great. As for the comment about the duvet… I recall watching a crime show about a women who met her end in a motel room in Indiana. The police examined the bed cover to see about finding traces of "DNA" if you know what I mean but in fact that cover included individually identifiable traces of "DNA" for 43 people! As for Bensley.. it can be a fine line between being cool vs. downright garish. This place seems ok though. Thanks again for these videos.
hi its great video and narration. May i ask your backround ?
Nothing about this hotel speaks to Javanese culture and Jakarta is such a hole…I would visit Yogyakarta instead.
a very well made video once again! can't wait for you PH Jakarta review, looking forward to it the most since it just opened!! cheers
Thanks for Sharing. When are you reviewing Kempinski Bangkok . I book this hotel for the upcoming trip to Bangkok in October . Once again thank you for sharing your hard work
My wife and I were watching an Architectual Digest, celebrity home tour the other day and there was a Rorschach marble slab in (I forgot the celebrity) their bathroom as well. Seems a bit odd but then, who am I to judge. The one in the Four Seasons bathroom looked like a rejected Donnie Darko movie poster proof.
you should try out the Kepinski Hotel in Jakarta. Next to the Grand Hyatt on the large central roundabout
Will there be a review of Park Hyatt
