Alas, our Greek honeymoon comes to a close on the island of Santorini.
Santorini is the most popular Greek island there is and we set out to answer… is Santorini worth it? — We think so! Although it’s busy, it’s still a very interesting island that’s worth at least one trip to visit. In this video, we highlighted what to do in Santorini and the top spots!
Oia is the most popular spot on the island, and the location many people think of when they imagine a Greek island. We begin our morning there to try and beat the crowds. We should’ve gotten there even earlier because there were still large groups of people.
Then we work our way down to Fira (or Thera), the second most popular spot on the island and capital/port of the island. It has just as great views and options for things to do.
After our town explorations, we visit the Heart of Santorini which is surrounded by interesting white cliffs, Red Beach (surrounded by red cliffs), and later some black sand beaches. Santorini has cliffs of every color!
As for food and drink options, we visited Santorini Brewing Company, had a great final dinner at Metaxi Mas, and had some cookies on our balcony watching the Greek sunset one last time.
Greece was a blast, and it was hard to say goodbye! We will miss the food, culture, beauty, and history of such an amazing country.

Great vlog, watching from the island of Samos. My husband refuses to take me to Santorini and he is right there are more authentic and beautifull places in Greece. Btw we are spending time with your husband twin here!
