Update: This flight has been cancelled due to low loads/yields.

The return leg of my Hong Kong-mainland China trip. I had around 3-hour stopover at HKG from Fuzhou Changle Int’l FOC before getting on the flight back to Kuching. This is probably my last red-eye flight for the year.
The service of HX is consistent, even their food is consistently tasteless, and the “hot” drinks served were not even warm. Apart from this, and the 1″ less pitch than most airlines, it’s still bearable for a regional flight. Choosing seats near emergency exits will be the best if you dread sitting on cramp seats.
These are solely my complaints and personal opinion, please ignore my comments in the future if you’re offended by my opinion.

  1. Nice to see the airport parking bays almost fully occupied in the morning. A contrast to the almost empty apron area during some periods in the day. Hopefully the LCCT plan materializes and Kuching will be connected to many different parts of Asia or even Australia.

  2. Finally, a video report on this flight. Thank you. However, I believe Hong Kong is in the Eastern part of Asia, not the North.

  3. Sad that this flight was no longer available. Didn’t get to experience this. AirAsia Kuching – Shenzhen, I also missed it. After some time I book the flight and it was cancelled. Hopefully more and more international flights will come back to KCH. Oh ya,if I’m not mistaken previously KCH has flights to Perth (MH), Jakarta and Bali (AK)
