Qatar is the host of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The event starts on November 20th, so how about discovering the country with us? In this first video in the series, you’ll see the Corniche, a huge waterfront area with lots of attractions. We start at the Flagpole of World Cup competitors, see the office of the Emir across the boulevard, then head to Mia Park, the National Museum of Qatar and finish at Box Park.

This is the beginning of a series featuring Doha and Qatar in preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2022!

    It's my pleasure to introduce you to the country of the next World Cup, an event I've been working with for the past 16 years (not playing 😁, but in the communications field). 2 years ago I had the intention of partnering with Qatar 2022 to come here and create my travel vlogs, but the pandemic kept the country closed to tourism for a loooooong time… So we missed the boat and the opportunity.     4:24 the song is a traditional Sudanese song (African Arab country) but here in Qatar (and Gulf countries) our traditional music is so different 😅

    So, as a journalist, what do you think of all the slaves that had to build the soccerstadiums? The 5000 people that have died? And all other dark deals that has been going on? In the Netherlands there's actually petitions going on boycotting the event. I wonder if you'll address these important things aswell cause this video looked like a promotion for dubai and fifa. The city might look futuristic but the laws and working conditions are from prehistoric times.
