How we spent 12 hours in Tokyo…

And just like that our time in Vietnam is over and it is time to head back to the US! We had plans of going back for my mother’s birthday, but due to Luca’s injury, we decided to go a bit sooner.
The funny part about this trip is that we finally got a chance to fly to Japan!

Unfortunately due to the restrictions we could not do a layover in Tokyo but had to spend 12 hours in the airport. For those who don’t know, we were meant to fly to Japan after our trip to Nepal. However the world shut down and we were stuck in Nepal, which was one of the best things that could happen to us. However, we still want to go to Japan and visit it in full!!! In the meantime, though we got to spend some time on Japanese soil!
