札幌市時計台は北海道札幌市中央区北1条西2丁目にある歴史的建造物です🏫

1970年に重要文化財に指定されました👑

正式名称を「旧札幌農学校演武場」ですが、現在の通称は〝札幌時計台〟もしくは単に〝時計台〟と呼ばれて親しまれています⏰

もともと鐘楼だった所に大時計を載せた特徴的な外観の建築物であり、時計台としては日本最古のものです🔔

時計台は毎正時、時を告げる鐘を鳴らします🎵

毎朝9時15分から10分程2階ホールに展示してある1928年ハワード社製の塔時計の重り巻き上げと機械の説明を行われています📣

時計台をwebで検索すると〝時計台　がっかり〟という結果が出てきますが、早起きすればがっかりしませんでした✌💝

It was designated as an important cultural property in 1970👑

The official name is “Former Sapporo Agricultural College Demonstration Hall”, but the current popular name is “Sapporo Clock Tower” or simply “clock tower”.

Originally a bell tower, it has a distinctive appearance with a large clock on top, making it the oldest clock tower in Japan.

The clock tower rings a bell every hour on the hour.

Every morning from 9:15, about 10 minutes, the 1928 Howard tower clock on display in the hall on the 2nd floor is hoisted and the machine is explained📣
