I have been here for 3 weeks and what I think has changed the most is food quality. Covid has definitely changed the food some. Old favorites are either gone, or the quality of the food is not the same!! As far as the mask, I just shove it under my chin when in less crowded areas and raise it back up when in crowd or public transportation. I am noticing more and more Japanese not wearing them. I’ll be glad when they realize they don’t work!
I have some questions about the mySOS app. Would it be too early to register now if I wouldn’t be going until spring next year? Should I wait until it’s closer to my trip to mess with it? Also, @Ninja Monkey mentioned he’s going this fall as well as next summer. Will the mySOS be valid for all trips moving forward or do you have to re-register each trip? Assuming that the app would still be a requirement next year.
