This video is street photography in Shinjuku, Tokyo, Japan with Fujifilm X-T3, XF18-135mm. The photos are shown in SOOC (Straight Out Of The Camera). I shared the recipe for film simulation in the video.

Shinjuku was a familiar town to me. From Shinjuku to Yotsuya Sanchome, there are many photography galleries. I used to exhibit my work there in the past.

Hello there!
I’m Japanese, a designer and photographer.
I share my daily vlogs on YouTube.
Thanks for coming to my video!
Have a great day!
Love, from Sunpono.

  1. You are clearly experienced with black and white, those shots were great! I really like black and white photography in cities, there is often a lot of distracting colour so it's nice to see past that. I also like how in thin and tall alleyways, the light has a very smooth gradient from the super bright sky above to the dark and gritty streets below.

I had never heard of Daido Moriyama before, but I've just looked at some of his work – I see what you mean about the high contrast. It looks interesting, I'll look at more of his work.
