Don’t post much, but just wanted to say I really love seeing these boutique hotels around Japan. Last time I was there was in 2005 and mainly stayed at business hotels, so it’s been great seeing these smaller alternatives to seek out for a future trip. Thanks!

Fantastic location to stay while in Kyoto. The 20 piece concept is rather interesting. I think it’ll be fun for a few close friends or two couples. Totally mesmerized by your “hide and seek” approach to avoiding being seen from the mirrors. I think it is a lot of fun.

One would think that Kyoto would be exciting enough to not have time to stay in your room besides for sleeping. I wouldn't care for climbing into my bed from the foot or the concrete wall look. The bathroom looked really nice. I don't know, it seems a little cheap to sell amenities, but whatever… when I travel I bring my own anyways. I don't remember seeing bath towels, did I miss them?

The corridors would be too dark for me, I like the room design. A record player in a hotel room is unusual. And the fact that you get pyjamas everywhere is also different from Europe or Canada. The food looked very appetising.
