■Description
Kumano-Nachi Taisha is a shrine in the mountains of Wakayama prefecture. The shrine itself as well as the surrounded regions are part of the UNESCO-designated World Heritage “Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range of Japan.” Its criteria is the cultural heritage. The Kumano Kodō, the ancient pilgrimage route connects it to other sites under the same classification, which are primarily located in Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. You can enjoy the mountain hiking through the Kumano Kodō. It is a challenging hike with quite steep and uneven path. So, it is a better choice for some visitors to get closer by vehicles. Yet, there will be a lot of ups and downs. Near the shrine, there is a big stunning water fall called Nachi Falls. It is also a part of the World Heritage Sites, and one of the most famous water fall in the Nation. The region offers the amazing contrast of both serene forests and dynamic views!
熊野那智大社（くまのなちたいしゃ）は和歌山県（わかやまけん）の山の上にある神社（じんじゃ）です。ここは、ユネスコ世界遺産（せかいいさん）『紀伊山地（きいさんち）の霊場（れいじょう）と参詣道（さんけいみち）』の一部（いちぶ）で、文化遺産（ぶんかいさん）として登録（とうろく）されています。熊野古道（くまのこどう）という大昔（おおむかし）の道を通って、山を登ることもできます。とても大変なので、近くまで車で行くこともできますが、それでも階段は多いです。近くには那智大滝（なちのおおたき）という大きな滝（たき）があります。とても美しい滝として、とても有名です。静かな森とダイナミックな景色（けしき）を楽しむことができます。
