Visit Japan: Number 6 in our countdown of Japan’s most affordable Michelin-starred restaurant…

Number 6 in our countdown of Japan’s most affordable Michelin-starred restaurants is Shinjuku Kappo Nakajima in Shinjuku, which serves one of the cheapest Michelin-starred lunches in Tokyo. 😋🇯🇵 Whilst their kaiseki courses at dinner are priced upwards of ¥15,000 ($200 AUD), at lunch you can enjoy the set meals from just ¥800 (approx $10 AUD). Tucked away in the basement of an unassuming building in Shinjuku, their speciality is ‘iwashi’ sardines. Sourced daily from Tsukiji Fish Market you can choose them cooked one of four ways served with rice, miso soup, pickles and tea. 🐟🍵 Photo by @dinamoto #VisitJapanAU #Cuisine
