A sacred giant rock “Towaya” in Yabu, Nago city

Towaya park is located in Yabu district in Nago city. Towaya is the giant rock in the park and the god of village enshrined in the shrine and its been a very important sacred spot in the district since long days ago.

The top of the rock is also the place where people see off a boat from Ryukyu (Okinawa) to off island in ancient days.
