The last stop for me on the Trans Mongolian Express! I get off the train in Ulaanbaator and in a minivan right away that takes me to the beautiful Terelj National Park.
Terelj National Park is a popular park in Mongolia and I get to spend 2 days and 2 nights there. I spent most of the time hiking through nature and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

  1. A lot of greenery for gras skiing. Very beautiful landscapes. Thank you for the upload.

  2. Oh…a glamping Yurt! Who would have thought that would be thing. Great job sharing your journey. What were the spinning things at the temple?

  3. The landscape is just breathtaking! It looks as a bit greener version of the Alps. The temple has a great view over the valley. I would love to sleep in one of those huts. Seems as a great place to stop! A pity you are back now in Beijing.

  4. The national park looks sooo idyllic! The field of the purple flowers you came across reminds me of the mountain flowers they collect in Albania to make "caj mali" (mountain tea). The landscape around there also reminded me somewhat of the mountains in Albania, actually. Mmm, ok you've convinced me I need to visit Mongolia!!

  5. Yeaht that grass or whatever it is was very tall. Good thing you had on pants…I know would've need some to keep from irritation on my skin.

    The landscape was absolutely gorgeous!

LOL there must have been a lot of flies. I heard that mentioned a few times.

Phew that was a lot of stairs to walk up in order to meditate!

Such a great adventure by train! Thanks for taking us along!

  6. This is one of my dream to visit a place where you can chill and spend time quality time with the nature and to spice it up theres a temple.wow this will be in my bucket list.

  7. Nice looking yurt. How much did it cost to stay there for two nights? Good idea to bundle up the wood to carry it. Do the flying ants bite? What is the significance of the spinny things at the temple? Cute baby yak!

  8. Can I ask, do you travel around on low budget or how does it work out financially. Does one need to have passive income or do you work while travel? No need to answer if this is too private

  9. did you really enjoy the trip ,which you had in Urümqi city ?It just like someone folllowed you all the time …

  10. You guys have one of the best travel channel, I remember my best friend’s dad’s visit to Mongolia 15 or 20 years ago, he said that at the time all tourists would need to but on a net hat on, he made a comment, if you yawn, all the bugs would fly in your mouth.
