As another incredible day in Guyana came to a close, I set out to have a special treat for dinner. Come with me as I enjoy the ultimate Guyanese seafood platter in Georgetown, Guyana!
It’s called the Kaieteur Falls Platter, which you can get at the Fireside Grill n Chill in Georgetown. The restaurant is right across the street from the Fireside Suites, which is where I stayed during my time in the city! They have 14 suites in total! The rooms are spacious and clean.

The Kaieteur Falls Platter is the biggest seafood platter in the city. It contains red snapper, scallops, crab legs, lobster, prawns, calamari, baby octopus, and corn on the cob. They have some outdoor seating and a bar.
They fried some fried snapper and put the shrimp, crawfish, lobster tails, calamari, some potatoes, the crab legs, mussels, and baby octopus on the grill. While it cooked, I headed to the bar to have a Hurricane, which is made from passion fruit mix, lime juice orange juice, white rum, and simple syrup.
I ate in the kitchen where it was quieter. They placed everything on a big platter and drizzled the juices and a garlic butter sauce over it. Everything looked incredible. The mussels and shrimp were so succulent. I loved the Cajun seasoning. Everything was so fresh!
I couldn’t get enough of the calamari, and the lobster was amazing with the garlic sauce. The crawfish were also excellent. Then, it was time for the snow crab! There was some nice meat in the knuckles. I really liked the meat inside, as well as the potatoes.
The corn was also nice and buttery. It reminded me of the corn I grew up eating!

Hallo Devid When You Test SOOMAAli FOOD
Bro why they can’t do an actual Guyanese seafood platter
Like tilapia, Guyanese buck crab, Guyanese prawn, Jesus Guyana has so much seafood options from our own waters. Not frozen lobster and crawfish from a bag 🤦🏽♀️ smh
Regardless at least it looks appetizing.
That seafood platter is a must have 😋
Love watching this to see different cultures and foods. But man close your mouth while eating..
Disgusting way of eating! Yuk! What a waste

So much seafood in that mukbang platter that David was swimming in it! I don't know how you can eat all that filling seafood but props to ya!
For that price, you would think dinner rolls was included and something to crack the crab claws. Way over priced for what you get.

WOW..I'm a born Guyanese living in New York City for the past 40years and hadn't visited Guyana since 2013 so I depend on most Youtube bloggers to keep me up to date on what's happening in Guyana and this one in particular was very informative as such viewed all of David's videos during his visit to Guyana. Thanks David.. I never knew Guyana had access to seafood such as lobsters ..squids and scallops..The seafood platter was a bit costly compared to what I would pay at Red Lobster restaurant in NYC..but I think it worth it depending on the availability of the seafood..Thanks again David..
