After a few months wasted trying to register my drone at the bugged website of Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism I could finally do it through paper mail in a week. Having business near Oomiya I found a place nearby Arakawa River to fly around. After flying I walked through rice fields to the nearest station Minami-Furuya.

The cut from flight to walking was pretty cool!
I think color settings make this one difficult to watch. Gh5 is not the best but the rural image was very coherent and natural.

Arakawa River flows through Adachi City in Tokyo. It is home to various plants and creatures, and a place of recreation and relaxation for citizens. The Arakawa River runs from the east side of Mt. Kobushigatake (2,475 meters high) with a prefectural border of Yamanashi, Saitama, and Nagano. Named ‘Arakawa’ river starts from the monument of the ‘starting point of the first-class river Arakawa’ located at Chichibu city in Saitama.

There is something sublimely beautiful about rice fields around harvest. Cant exactly pin it down. Maybe its because I love satoyama and the emotions the boundary evokes. Would have been funny if a cat was in the rice. Thank you as always Ram. This was a rather cinematic opening and relaxing walk.
