Mie Ago Bay – 英虞湾 – 4K Ultra HD : Also known as the ‘bay of pearls’, Ago Bay is a stunning scenic bay located near Ise which hosts as many as 50 different islands of various sizes. Because of its unique location and its complicated coastline, Ago Bay quickly became one of the most famous pearl culture spots in Japan and this is thanks to Mikimoto Kōkichi who was the first Japanese person to ever cultivate pearls in Japan and subsequently opened its first pearl oyster farm in 1888.

But complicated coastlines and pearl culture are not Ago Bay’s only unique features. It also hosts some amazing beaches that many people around Mie and Ise are enjoying all summer long with friends and family.

  1. Beautiful. I hope to see some of these landscapes in person some day…

  2. The lack of people in TSV videos feels very familiar😊 A great deal of mine are shot during public holidays or other peoples working hours so everywhere I've been looks deserted haha. More downtown videos coming soon?

  3. 映像も美しいですが、音楽がなくて、鳥の声や波の音など自然音だけなのがいいですね。
