First RIP Queen. 🕯
Today I tried another bike ride “walking” tour. We are at Nihonzutsumi area, outside Asakusa, maybe 15 – 20 minutes walk.
A very special place near Asakusa area, if you would like to know more, you can google it. 🙂

Weeeeee.. Bike ride. 🚲😊👍
Nice work, あかねさん. I had some catching up to do, no better way to get back in saddle than with a bike tour. Very quiet and peaceful, this one. The streets were nearly deserted. 5:15 : Is that the Tamahime Inari-jinja / 玉姫稲荷神社 on the right ? ⛩🦊⛩, 👍❤. I'm not 100 % certain but I believe I've seen 江戸時代 prints of Nihonzutsumi by Hiroshige. Isn't that the place where the Shogunate built these dikes between (former) Sanya and Shodencho to prevent floodings from Sumida river back in the days ? I recognize the Tsutsumi / 堤 kanji in your title and I'm pretty sure that's where the name of the place comes from : Two dikes or Japan / Japanese dike, depending on how you spell the 二本 / 日本.
PS : Hell of a Lady, Queen Elizabeth II. I'm not British but still, it hit me. The world will miss her. May she rest in peace, 🙏.
