Do you think you can pack more in a backpack or suitcase? Tell us why below!
Good morning from Arizona. I love your videos. That's a good video idea. The amount of contents comparison? I am a roller bag gal because of my physical troubles & many surgeries. At times my purse is to much & it by no means is big.
It depends on the backpack. If there are a lot of pockets and compartments this can make things more bulky. Also the backpack can get heavy so not the best for those with back issues.
I use a rolling backpack which I can carry or roll. It has smooth skate wheels for those rough cobblestone streets. Best of both worlds! Thanks for your awesome videos!
I think we're ALL a bit all over the place when it comes to choosing what we travel with. I've only traveled solo once, but glad I chose a carry on suitcase and a duffel-shaped personal item (I'll do the same again in March). When you're carting that stuff around the airport, especially in the bathroom, you just roll it in with you as one unit. No trying to take off a backpack in the stall and hang it. Otherwise, I love to take a backpack and carry on that my husband can simply watch when needed.
Team roller bag. While I’ve come a long way in my packing light journey, I have not made it to the point where I can pack so light that a backpack won’t feel like a burden.
Your videos have been on point!!! Just got back from a European trip and I hated how I packed so now I’m bingeing your videos for all the luggage tips and your channel has been so helpful! Just purchased the Beis carry on rolling suitcase and mini convertible weekender – can’t wait for them to come in!
#TeamConvertableBackpack ….. I've successfully traveled the world as a solo one bagger with no clunclunk, clunclunk, clunclunk 🌏🌎🌍
I've picked up a little folding hand truck so I could put my backpack on it😉 it'd be perfect for the airports and train stations, but then I can backpack it for the streets of Europe. I'm hoping the osprey farpoint 40 will be comfortable enough.
I've seen rolling backpacks but adding the wheels might make it too heavy 🤔
I had a High Sierra convertible backpack. It was amazing. Smaller and fit international dimensions. Sadly they don’t make it anymore and I wish I had bought a few to last me a lifetime. I’ve been looking for a replacement and so far haven’t found one that I like. I love wheels and I did use the backpack part only twice (Brazil and Germany) which lets me know I use wheels more. So team rolling bag! 🙋🏽♀️
Do you happen to have a packing video on the Beis Expandable backpack? I saw your other video showing it so I was keeping an eye out. Thank you. Love your videos.
Here’s a future video idea: comparing the Beis mini weekender bag to the Away everywhere bag. I’d love to see which one you prefer to use as a personal bag on the airplane.
I've only flown once, took only a backpack for a 4 day trip to Arizona. Road trips to in laws are more common but I now do only a backpack there too, plus a tote for the extras we need for our special needs son.
Would love to see that backpack v rolling bag comparison video.
I've never been a backpack person but see how handy they can be, I always worried in Europe about pickpocketing with a backpack very common. I always take rolling luggage but in Europe the streets are cobble stone it's definitely a challenge to roll around a luggage
rollers just aren't meant to be dragged through city streets
Can you review Trexa luggage?
Hi! I’m headed to Spain and Portugal via TAP Air and was wondering: does the Beis carry on, which I just bought based on your super helpful reviews, fit comfortably as a carry on for TAP?
I read some reviews about them weighing and using sizers at the gate and I really don’t want to have to check at all. Thanks for all the helpful info!
