#kadıköy district in Istanbul is located on the Asian side of Istanbul and is considered to be one of the largest, densely populated and well-known districts with major infrastructures. It is situated on the northern side of the Sea of Marmara, and it faces Bosporus’ historic center towards the European side. Also, it is one of the most noteworthy neighborhoods in the district. It has a residential space and a commercial area consisting of multiple bars, movie theaters, bookshops and much more.

Kadıköy district in Istanbul is also coined to be a center for cultural activities at the Anatolian side of Istanbul, and one of the rapidly growing districts in the past 2 ½ decades. The Söğütlüçeşme railway station is located in the Kadıköy district in Istanbul, Turkey, and it is the following station after the Haydarpasa Terminal. The Söğütlüçeşme acts as the primary terminal for the Metrobus Line coming from the European side of Istanbul.
The M4 which is officially known as the M4 Kadikoy to Tavşantepe metro line every day between 6:00 am to 23:57 pm. The service was thrown open to the general public 6 years back in 2012. The entire route consists of 19 stations and it is a rapid transit line that runs between these two stations. The M4 is the only metro line that connects and functions on the Asian end of Istanbul.
Kadikoy is essentially the transportation terminus for commuters who want to travel from the Asian side of the city and into the European side, all the way to the Bosphorus. There are minibus and bus terminus stations that are directly next to the ferry docks. Since ferries are mostly a preferable mode of transport for many people residing in Kadikoy. Plus, it is also a central market area is present beside the ferry docks which makes it a viable means of transport.
The most famous university in Kadıköy district in Istanbul would be the Marmara University, along with the Haydarpasa University that is among the largest and beautiful universities there is. Another one of the largest private universities in Istanbul would be the Yeditepe University that is situated at Kayışdağı hill.
