It’s my birthday!! 🥳🥳

I can’t believe another birthday in Japan has passed!! I moved to Japan when I was 21 and I can’t believe how many years have passed so quickly 🥺 I think a chapter of my life will be ending this year, so it’s bittersweet…the future is scary, but I will try my best 💪

Which is why I also want to work more on myself!! I’d also like to work on other, more practical skills but…I need time to play Genshin 🥺

  1. I see that I'm not the only one who has to say "Lechonk" outloud every time they see Lechonk.

    …Lechonk.

  2. Happy birthday! I'm 34 and still wondering when I'll feel like a grown up haha, there is no age by which we have to do things, enjoy the vibes 💜

  3. As someone who just recently got their second piercings done, some advice if you don't know already: 1. Go to a real piercing/tattoo parlor and not somewhere that uses the piercing gun. 2. IMO it's better to get it pierced during the colder months. I feel like the colder air helped keep down irritation/swelling/infection. When it warmed up my piercing needed to be cleaned out a lot more until it healed enough. 3. You'll have to probably use the saline spray minimum twice a day in the beginning, and then gradually start using it once a day, to not at all. 4. My piercer told me my earring will not be able to be switched out until a year. I thought it would only be a few months and then I'd be totally healed lol! but it does take a while so keep that in mind. ✌

  4. Happy birthday you super cool person, you!

    When I turned 25, my mom reminded me that she was married with two kids at that age. And I was all “but I got a second cat?”

    Now I’m 33 with THREE CATS. So there, mother! 😂

  5. Happy belated birthday! I love your videos and I can tell how much effort you put into all of them! Thank you for sharing your life with us!

  6. Just want to say happy birthday! Also that my name is also Allison (also 26) and I happened to stumble across your channel because I’ve been studying Japan for a while now to someday visit! Watched your helpful video about recent changes in Japan so I saved it to my playlist for later haha. Subscribed as well once I saw more videos and your name too haha ☺️ love the Alice cafe! I literally collect Alice Wonderland things (nostalgia reasons lol). Just love it all girl! Will continue to watch your channel 😊

  8. I would love to know where you bought your dress and cardigan! So delicate and feminine. Would they ship to the USA?

  9. Happy Birthday, Allison!!!
    Just wanted to heap praise on you for your Coolness, Beauty, and Intelligence!!!! 😉 😆😆😆

  10. Happy belated birthday! I also turned 26 this year and have been trying to make it a year of self-improvement too, this video was a bit too relatable ;-;
    You're totally right that 23 and 26 felt like such a big difference when we're younger. I grew up with four older sisters who always felt soooo much older than me. But now I'm right there with them, we're all old together! Time feels like it's going way too fast and I can barely remember what things were like when I was 24 or 25 (maybe the pandemic was to blame though).
    At the start of the year I started a 5 year journal, I'm hoping I can open my journal in the years to come and look back on what kind of person I was before.
