  3. A great interview… In some ways I felt I saw worse poverty in Arizona….The homeless were everywhere, there…

  4. Very cool interview Alex a retired Marine who's just chill knowledgeable and just knows what the Philippines is about I definitely agree anyone who is not from the Philippines needs to do their homework before coming out here for sure ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†’๐Ÿ˜Ž

  6. Iโ€™m a Filipino-Canadian working as a registered nurse in Canada.. the nurse shortage is affecting not only the patients but also the staffs.. most of us are burn out.. Iโ€™m 53 and plan to retire in Dumaguete in 2 years.. Iโ€™m done paying high taxes in Canada.. my spouse is Canadian he is also in his 50โ€™s and canโ€™t wait to retire and live in the Philippines. Weโ€™ve been watching YouTube about retirement in the Philippines for 5 years now.. canโ€™t wait to realize our dream retirement.

  8. Hi Alex! Thanks for taking the time to hang out with us. It was truly a pleasure and an honor meeting and spending time with you and Palm. Hopefully we will cross paths again someday soon. In the meantime, take care, love life and live it to the fullest. You'll always regret what you didn't do rather than what you did ๐Ÿ‘

  9. Tampo – a common reactionary behaviour among Filipinos – a person who might subject you to silent treatment because you hurt their feelings, and also a way of way of playing hard to get. A sort of passive retaliation against someone who hurt their feelings.

  10. Hi Alex, great content man. I was wondering what the name of your condo was in the OnNut area in Bangkok. That was great deal you had there.
    Keep up the great work!
    Fellow Canadian๐Ÿ‘,
    Dave.

  11. Huge disagreement on pizza remark, makati has at least 7 amazing pizza restaurants that rival anything in America, there are also videos on that but Iโ€™ve been there several times and that statement is totally wrong.

  12. Hi! Eric & Eden welcome home. You tuber " TRIFATE LIFESTYLE" those guys from Minnesota too. They are too funny!๐Ÿ˜

  13. In general nurses look lovely. But as there are a lot of lovely ladies in the Philippines, I bet the nurses are gorgeous. I love your videos, keep them coming.

  14. This was a good interview Iโ€™m happy for them good interview alex keep up the awesome work ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿพ๐Ÿ˜Ž

  15. What is it with most Americans and tank tops, to show their tatts ? You very seldom see other foreigners using that.

  16. Good interview, very quick and on-point gentleman, he looks very relaxed and adapted to his home in the Philippines.

  17. There's poverty around the world guys!. In the Philippines, we don't hide and pretend it doesn't exist unlike in other countries like here in Canada and U.S. and other countries as well! I mean, the poor people in Canada and U.S. get welfare cheque Filipinos don't! Filipinos are willing to work for free food. Unlike other countries, really they don't want to work and used the money for drugs mostly. I lived in Canada for decades, first thing I encountered are those people asking for food and money. I was was shocked too because I thought only in the Philippines it happens! If you don't give they harassed you or degrade you saying that you people should go back to your country. I have a comments this guy said to me that you guys eat a lot in a fancy resto but yet you cannot give me money and this guy is freaking abled body that he can work if he wants. So I said. " we worked and pay taxes in your country and we deserve what we eat, what we buy. Every where you look and every street corners there's a lot of them. I've been to U.S. a lot of times same thing! I kinda don't like it when expats or tourist come to my country and acting and pretending only in the Philippines you saw poverty! I'm sorry it kinda pissed me off!

  18. Hey Alex, yes, Healthcare is a big issue with me as far as a possible future in the Philippines permanently. ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ญ Hopefully the heat and humidity issue can be resolved by adapting to it over time. But, I'm highly skeptical being a WASP genetically. ๐Ÿ˜Š

  19. My advice to anyone no matter where we live we should always take care our health. Doctor's visit only cost
around $10 and eat the right food to keep us healthy.

  20. Sobering video Alex. Thanks for sharing. When it comes to love, like the old country song states, "those rose colored glasses we look through show only the beauty, but hide all the truth"

  21. Alex pilipinas nurse is a world class no 1 nurses you might ever meet , why Phil's is mostly choosing the foriegner because we can leave simple life , we can eat rice our intired life no need to worry about food we are simple , yess true , if you bring your western life in Phil's it doesn't matter but all is really suitable no need to much worry
