Kakitagawa Park locates in Shimizu of Shizuoka prefecture and is filled with lots of lush greenery. It is a place of recreation and relaxation for the locals. In particular, the natural springs in the “Wakima”, a place the water springs from, is famous for its beautiful scenery and highly transparent water, and is designated as a national natural treasure. Kakitagawa River, which flows through the park, has been named as one of the top three clearest streams in Japan.
