Want this iconic shot when you’re in Japan? 📸 From Tokyo the Chureito Pagoda is easily accessible, (and the best news is most of the journey can be completed with your JR Pass). Directions below: 🇯🇵 From Tokyo Shinjuku take the Ltd Exp Kaiji to Otsuki, (approx 1 hour, included in your JR Pass). 🇯🇵 Next take the Fujikyu Railway Line between Otsuki and Shimoyoshida (45 minutes costing ¥960 – around $12). 🇯🇵 The Chureito Pagoda can be found within the Arakura Sengen Shrine, which is a 10-15 minute walk from Shimoyoshida Station (Plus 398 steps to reach the top, but the view is worth it!).
