Arco Park never came to be, but the stadium was started. Millions of dollars were poured into what amounted to an empty lot filled with concrete and an eventual lake.

This is the story of Sacramento’s lost ballpark, hopeful home of the Oakland A’s, The Raiders, or the San Francisco Giants.

Sitting in the shadow of Arco Arena aka Sleep Train Arena, the abandoned stadium project still evokes wonder and what-ifs.

  1. Ooo another abandoned stadium 🏟️ Your videos are so informative and unusual. Love it!

  2. Good shit, glad a local explorer finally did a video on this. I been snooping around there during the Sacramento Antique fair every month the past couple years haha. Went inside a couple weeks ago when they first started demo, now it’s all gone! 🥺 RIP THE KINGS PALACE

  3. Another excellent video from you. I’ve been to arco many many times. I grew up in rocklin. Former 49ers training camp and my family had season tickets to the kings 86-99 I got to see Metallica a few times, many raves. Thanks for updating us on that spot. Holds lots of memories. No matter how bad the kings were, that place got loud regardless. Thanks for another great video. Can’t wait for the next parts!

  4. My favorite kings player was Doug Christie. Dude played with heart. He was the worst player on that 99-2004 run but, played hard and that’s what kings always lacked. Ie tisdale rules. But, I’m loving Keegan Murray now! 16 year drought gonna end with him.

  5. Another what been stadium. I would have love it then, I'm a fan of old stadiums. It would have boost Sacramento for sure. Agree with you Dylan what if's….yes the Raiders and the A's would have played there. Great video Dylan!!….btw I am with you on the Giants if they ever move I would lose interests. I am so glad that they never moved to Tampa Bay.

  6. Me and my buddies tagged the place up a longgg time ago, the entrance to the bottom part is on the “front” side covered by trees and kinda looks like a small tunnel

  7. Awww man looks like you need boots to get in there. A bunch of my fellow explorers got in a few years ago.
