This video starts at Karasumori Shrine in Shimbashi and we are walking around in this area. The main purpose of this video is check the ultra wide lens of the new iPhone 14 Pro Max. In the previous video, I did the same test but I shot at 60fps. So I’d like to try 24fps this time to see how bright it can shoot a nighttime video.

Trivia: When you shoot at 24fps, you’ll get more light and as a result your video will be brighter. But since there are only 24 frames per second in the video, the images are somewhat like stop motion animation. If you shoot at 60fps, your video will be darker but smoother. Please give me a comment if this video is acceptable or not.

Amazing audio. Good example of wide lens. Thanks from Australia.
Shinbashi ??
Nice audio!
After 5 Minutes I changed to the other video and watched a few seconds there several times.
I certainly prefer this version, especially in the distance it's far more clear than the 60fps one. I like the crispiness and after all it's the details that are important.
That said I watched on a Laptop screen, a big monitor might be different sicne you see more details from the start.
Also I have the feeling that 24fps only work for "slow" videos like walking videos, with bigger movements of the camera it would be too raggedy.
Hey Yoshi, I have been down due to a negative reaction to medication. Got behind on everything. Just heard Japan was hit by a typhoon and earthquakes. I hope and pray everyone is ok and that there is no damage. Looking forward to catching up on your videos. You and your family stay safe.
great Video.
I'm Your Fan
Thanks for another video. On all these iphone 14 videos there seems to be lens flare, blown out highlights and a glow around lamps and lights.
Thank you very much sjnbhjttplace 💝rovealways you videos💝
Hi Yoshi. The setting at 24fps is too bright for certain settings in this video. I know you are testing it out so it may take some time to get it the way you want. I’m still using the 13 pro max. I may get the 14 after we move back to Japan.
What a wonderful video superb Japan ❤️🗾🇯🇵 and superb iphone 14 pro Max
First of all: The image quality in this walking night video capture is MAGNIFICENT. There is much more light reaching the sensor and barely any noise in the extreme low light areas. The 4K 24 frames per second gives all the moving objects a wonderful CINEMATIC BLUR as people are walking by. It feels much more like a walking scene in a movie..!
From a more technical standpoint: For the 1st time; the ULTRAWIDE LENS is producing an image quality in this video like the main camera on the iPhone 13 Pro. The edges are lit and offer a cleaner appearance in the low light areas. The typical noise on the edges when shooting ultrawide is largely eliminated in this video. 4K 24fps is ideal for the MOVIE LOOK or if you're going to be shooting in areas with much less environmental lighting. This night video has an exceptional FEEL & APPEARANCE. I'm really glad that you were willing to try 24fps. Thank you for being open to input from your subscribers..!
I think you might have SET THE STAGE for the emergence of 2 new standards for SCENIC WALK YouTubers. 1. More YouTubers will consider using the ultrawide lens for low light SCENIC CAPTURE. 2. Based on your outstanding night results; more NIGHT SCENE YouTubers will embrace shooting at 24FPS (frames per second). Congratulations for SETTING THE EXAMPLE necessary to lead independent broadcasters into the future..!
i would like to know how much GB of this video when it is 4K 24FPS thanks!
So clearer than older videos day and now night to including lights on the buildings and the big tv 📺 monitors to. Be waiting for the ones where you catch the local trains 🚆 going by at night and JAL ✈️ going overhead see how it looks as well. Can’t wait for October 31st This Famous Tokyo Downtown party that’ll be a great 👍 test for it . Would like to see you walk on the side streets where they turn and go up a hill to. 👍📱🇧🇱⛩️🙏🙏
