   When I was in Istanbul the Blue Mosque was literally a few blocks away from my hotel room. I arrived and crashed because of the long travel time, passed out when I laid down. A few hours later the call to prayer (ezan in Turkish and adhan in Arabic) blasts at me through the open window. I was dazed and desperately looking for the remote control in the bed sheets because I thought I rolled over and turned the TV up by accident. Then I realized no… this is real, not a TV.  Man it really caught me by surprise.

   They broadcast the call to prayer to let folks know when it's time to pray. This was useful back in the day when not everyone had clocks handy, now it's just tradition. You get used to it after a few days. I stopped noticing it entirely by the end of a week.

   Discovered your channel a few days ago and can't stop watching your videos! I've always been interested in Dubai so this was a great vlog to watch. I also especially love watching all your japanese videos! 🙂

   Just getting around to seeing some of the older videos. You guys have really done a lot of traveling and have documented it well! It's great to be able to see all these places and learn about them from these videos. I hope more people get to see all these videos as you guys get more subscribers!

    Nope, hiding in the karsey with a burger & no beer is not for me, i'd give this part of the world a big swerve. My wife passed through during her Army service & said i'd last about 1 hour before being imprisioned, if I was lucky.
