Bicycle Touring of Awashima Island – Niigata Prefecture

I went to the tiny Island off the coast of Northern Niigata Prefecture.
The island is home to little over 350 people. With this video, I want to share the fantastic, unforgettable trip I had of the Island.
I rented a bicycle on the island to do a loop around it. With a road bike or sports bicycle, the whole loop of island can be completed within 1 hour.
However, I went on this trip for relaxation purpose, so I rented assisted Mamachari – type of bicycle and did a relaxing ride.

So, put on pair of headphones and enjoy the music with nice scenery.
