My American door opens inward, but that's because I have a screen door that opens outward. I can't imagine having both a main door and a screen door that both opened out.

Congrats on the house and I loved the tour video, kyde I know youβre a little obsessed with the duel locks on the front door, how I use my duel lock is a little interesting, the bottom lock handle (inside the house) is removable so itβs kinda like a deadlock. So when you leave the house and lock the bottom one there is no way a thief can take things out the front door, now I know they could prob just use the sliding doors to take things out but I guess it looks very suspicious if people see someone taking things out the windows rather than the front door. Anyway just a little tip what you can do with that bottom lock.
Re: the fridge placement, I think rotating it 90 degrees means turning it to face the rest of the kitchen, so that the door opens and swings right to the wall, and the back of the fridge is exposed to the room off to what is currently the left. Maybe? Then, at least, the open fridge door isn't blocking the rest of the kitchen anymore, even though the fridge guts at the back are on display. And I'm so glad this video hit big for you guys!

Re: The doorlocks. Could it be one of the locks is a deadbolt lock and the other one a spring-lock? Hard to tell exactly from the videos. The combo is not unheard of at all, well perhaps in the U.S. If so, it makes it more secure and harder for anyone to carry out stuff through the regular door, e.g a TV, if the door is locked x 2 , but ofc that only works if there is no key on the deadbolt lock on the inside of the door. It can also help if you want someone coming in to do some repair or such, then you only have to give them the key to the spring-lock and leaving the deadbolt unlocked. Then when they leave they just put the key on the doormat on the inside and shuts the door. Thus minimizing the risk of the deadbolt-key being duplicated as well. π

Been watching your videos since the "weird burger" days, this one is the most down to earth and real one yet. Also seems like better setup/editing skills – feels like this one was storyboarded a bit more just like the house videos, that prep is paying off!
