This is the day after a typhoon in Busan, South Korea. Who knew that it was typhoon season in this part of the world? Not me. Here is another video from the My Monday Morning series where I share what a typical morning looks like for me as a remote worker.

This was the 14th typhoon of the season and thankfully, it did not hit Korea this time, but winds and rain was torrential for 24 hours while it was passing by. Neighbours, Japan got hit badly but late on Sunday evening, the typhoon moved East and avoided battering the coastline. That said, you can see some damage in the video as I walk around.

  1. Next, I'm thinking about filming a vid about the cost of living here in Busan, and find some food in the markets! Thumbs up if you would like to see that!

  2. Nice city beach, love the pines that line it. I bet it is even more windy on that suspension bridge. The mic does a good job with blocking out the wind, we can still here your voice nice and clear. I'm an explorer 😀

  3. Darren, can you talk about taxes as a remote worker? On the contracting side and full time employee side.

  4. Darren! How spot on you are! Mon was a UK B/H HMQ's internment, (sadly). Def., though, the beg., of a work week, for the U.K.
    S. Korea mindset, is desirable (beach cleanups)- Loved the video; the beach looked fabulous even after a typhoon! You've sewed the seeds and food for thought. 🌿🙂
