🤠 ABOUT 🤠
Howdy! My name is Scott. Since February 2019, I have lived full-time in and worked my RV business and YouTube Channel from my Winnebago Travato GL, a 21’ Class B RV camper van.

  1. Scott, watching the show on delay. I think this was one of your best shows ever. Really enjoyed your ranting and was actually LOL. your comments about the lack of innovation are so on point. A couple minor thoughts. Dark Vans are a big mistake, white is much cooler. the awning with the gap will let rain pour in. Love the show. Hope to meet up some time.

  2. I grew up in california, and it was very easy to get rid of recycling while out and about. I realized when I moved out of California that it was a lot more challenging most everywhere else. They have recycling at home in florida, but I haven't been able to find a place to dump stuff while traveling. I'm in the process of getting downsizing so that I can put my condo on the market and move into a van or RV. So I've been thinking about what that will look like, and part of it is just being very mindful about what items I buy so that I don't have to have as much trash and recycling. In a ideal situation, many items would be burnable. I try to be careful about what I put in a fire, but anything that won't be toxic I put in a fire so that I don't have to have the trash. Of course plastic isn't not burnable. But if I can buy less plastic containers then that helps.

  3. Hey Scott, missed the live but watching now. Saw the new 2023 LTV with the Murphy bed and it was just gorgeous! Keep on keepin' on!

  4. Great show, and loved watching your AirStream Rangeline video last night. If you're near Rangeline tomorrow, any chance you can tell us the height of the garage — floor to bottom of the Murphy bed?

  5. Recycling- try Visitors Centers. I recently stumbled upon one in the back, when I went to walk my dogs.
Gas 3.39 in Green Bay Area!

  6. When I first thought I'd go on the road, I bought a minivan it was going to plan to live in my minivan, to be super stealth. But last summer I did a three month trip in my minivan, and realize that two or three months is the limit for living in my minivan. If I want to be full-time I need something that I can stand up in, and that I can clean up in my rig. I've been thinking that I will do a b van, but after looking at prices and watching them just go up and up and up, I'm probably going to end up with a Class C, but something less than 25 ft. It's not as stealthy, but I think I'm going to look into some of the membership systems, perhaps Thousand Trails. My goal is to move slowly, so I'm not spending so much on gas, and because these rigs actually have very significant Towing capacity, I might go ahead and buy a inexpensive tow vehicle, so I can set up at an RV park for a few weeks and use something like a smart car too explore the area for a few weeks. But the bottom line truly is that I have a lot of decisions to make, and I can't make a final decision on anything until I sell my condo and I realize what my final budget will be. But I think I'm only 60 to 70,000 to buy my used rv. Keeping a small amount of from that for an emergency fund. Because I do not want to have any debt. I really would rather be in a van, but unless I can find one that really hits 100% of my bucket list, it's not worth what it would take.

  7. I agree with you say about volta, but honestly any kind of lithium system would be attractive. I think Volta is the better choice, but I would buy the Airstream if it had any kind of lithium with appropriate capacities.

  8. OH SCOTT!!! You have hit the nail on the head with MSRP! What an absolute con game that is! It is the one thing that really chaps my hide!
About that Jayco… their “show price” is $135,981. If we add the supposed “total show savings”, we get $273,962… which is nowhere near the $183,900 “Replacement Value”, whatever that is supposed to be.
So unless they think the MSRP is different from this “Replacement Value”, there is no way there was that kind of savings. And quite frankly… it’s a Jayco… it would NEVER be worth over $273k, no matter what you did with the thing!
Also, did you notice the “show price” isn’t your final price… you have to add “DEALER PREP”, and that can easily hit $3 grand or more!
So… if you add the show price and $3k dealer prep, they are reducing the “replacement value” price by about 24%. But of course… who ever said the RV was actually worth almost $184k in the first place? No one ever.

  9. What lithium system is in coachman's? The Beyond and the Nova specifically? I've been looking at the Nova 20c, because even though the tavado is my preference, the Nova is more affordable, and right now you can't find GL's easily. I keep going back and forth between a nova, and a Majestic Class C, which I can pay cash for. I think right now I'm really spending some time processing what my priorities are, because a larger rig would mean being able to keep all of my craft/jewelry making items, which is actually a big part of how I spend time when not out exploring. With the class b, I'd have to let go of most of my craft items. Just one small bin perhaps just wire and tools to do some projects, but letting go of several bins of beads and other jewelry making supplies. Though if I was able to keep those items, I would be able to do some selling on the road, as you can see I'm definitely unsure of my path at this moment. I can imagine each path clearly, I just don't know which one is what will bring me the most Joy.

  10. Not to mention that the Ridgeline has a bigger bed, so that's part of where you're losing some space.

  11. FYI… if someone has their browser in a smaller window, the dollar sign ( $ ) disappears behind three dots ( … ), which acts as a drop down. You have to click on the three dots to give you any money!
Also, Frank 'N Sharon are right… LivinRVision is a good channel. Nice people, joke around with each other. Nice to watch when you've had less than a stellar day.
    Be Seeing You!

  12. The solis px which I have is basically the same thing as the ridgeline. I extended the bed so I have a king size north south bed. I replaced my table with a table i had made that it can be 17x 30 or 17 x15. I also added 8 100 amp battleborns plus a 3000 watt inverter. I do think the solis bathroom is larger than the thor and is the right size. I was excited to see the fan in the poptop on the ridgeline. I am thinking of finding someone to cut a fan into my poptop.

  13. Great job on the show! Almost 2 hour live! Caught the replay and still good. When you go downtown Hershey by the factory you will smell chocolate for sure and don’t miss the Hershey kiss street lamps. Enjoy the rest of your time at the show.

  14. 1:15:10…Grech is 19Ft…only?
    WRONG…
obviously you have a problem with this exceptional brand…which is at the top of B-class!
Grech comes in 22 and 24 Ft also…
DO YOUR RESEARCH and TALK SMART…!

  15. I hate my dark cabinets
What’s your thought on the class c RedHawk

  16. If I am not mistaken that cool wrapped van belongs to Mike from the YouTube channel Last Line of Defense. He has a very popular channel detailing overlanding, van and firearms.

  17. Scott, good video. Jayco has owned Integra for many years, at least since 2018, when we bought our Jayco class C. They are literally built on the same line. This is the same thing Winnebago used to do with their Itasca brand.

  18. You might want to warn the buyers at General RV that went I ordered my Beyond at “show price” it was raised a lot more than $20,000 when delivered. I refused to pay it. And ordered an Embassy, NO DEALER and continuous innovation!

  19. Scott gotta disagree with you about Airstream being better than Panoramic.

Panoramic has been producing that Airstream layout (only better) since its inception, plus has the features you wished Airstream had. Its quality and styling is top notch, and has the service to match.

In fact, we canceled our Travato order after using a friends Pannie for three weeks this spring.

Check out the Panoramic reviews by utuber Ultramobility and see why he just bought one too!

  20. Scott, I like the floor plan and the bathroom in the Airstream. Could you take some measurements and measurements of the front lounge?
What is the bed passenger side used for during the day?

  21. Thank you Scott for how much you inspire and help the community. Your are APPRECIATED!🚐❤️

  22. Ridgeline with a few tweaks could be perfect – solar config for running AC, Some method for folding bed without having to stow bed linens every night. Thanks for all the info on camper vans “innovation” 🤣

  23. Scott your pointing out the greed AND LETS CHARGE A HIGH NUMBER FOR ALL THE NEWBIES WHO HAVE NO CLUE WHAT TO EXPECT OR PAY. jUST LIKE THE HOUSING INDUSTRY AND PEOPLE PAYING WAY OVER SAKING PRICE…………………….The inovation is in the wacko pricing………….

  24. Hi Scott, I was very impressed with the new Airstream Rangeline as well. I used the “build” function on their website and the only option listed was the pop top. According to the specs, it comes with a lithium battery and solar panel.

  25. Hi Scot, I was told that STO and Winghamm weren't there because the (waiting?) list to be a vendor at Hershey is 3 years and/or the event is very expensive. I reached out to Winghamm as I am on the list to receive the Oasis sometime and they did respond sayng no new updates.
I love your servant/service mentality in all you bring to your channel and sorry we didn't see you. We went Wed/Thurs had a great time but as you mentioned was underwhelmed with the innovation.

  26. I have been following your WUWs since before you decided to call them that. So happy you had a large audience for this! Excited for your new business developments and thanks for all the quality content!
