  1. Songs get written about how beautiful your are??? Do di dong do di dong. I just wanna pen fan you di bor…diiii bbbboooorrr! Cry me a river.

  2. As a man who is also of half Swedish ancestry, I felt an instant affinity. Also a bit of jealousy because my ancestors emigrated from Sweden to the US too long ago to maintain or obtain the nationality she is able to enjoy. I kind of wish my ancestors had stayed in Sweden. It is such a well run country. But being a dual national of Sweden and Thailand is probably the best of all worlds. I mean you can live in the EU or Thailand. That is a great thing.

  3. Yes her quote = Thai people always do
" Be whoever you want to be..as long as you don't make problems to others "

  4. That's good her mother made her keep her culture & speak Thai. Bilingual is a great asset to have. Im sure she is happy her mother taught her Thai..she has the best of both cultures 👍

  5. As a father of two luk krueng daughters, I absolutely love this video.
My eldest, now in uni, spent her first year in Thailand then a year and a half overseas then the rest of her life here in Chiang Mai. her younger sister all her life here in Thailand.
Jennifer, what an amazing young woman you are, thank you for sharing your story.

  6. Great idea for the App. It's a start and changing the culture of Thais that do double pricing. More Apps the better. I have always looked at this as racist and how Thai's have this in their culture. A Thai lady married a Frang teache and had 5 children. Where ever she went she was charged double, if not more. For common things such as food, rent, bus fare, hospital bills, etc.. The couple afte 7 years of putting up with Thai Bull Shit decided to move to his home country, just because of the racism. It does not matter how poor you are Thai's will only look at your skin and think your rich. This will never change unless something or a moment is done about it. I think this young lady has a great idea and hopefully it will turn into a movement and loss of income for those Thai's Business that are racist. Hopefully she can audit the business to make sure they stay in compliance and don't charge Frangs.

  7. So I looked at the app you suggested for learning languages and there is no Thai, where do you live?, where was this video made?

  8. I'm going out on a limb and say that Jenny would prefer a swedish BF rather than Thai….Her second choice would be american.. Either way, she is beautiful and will get whatever boy she makes solid eye contact with..

  9. She’s so lovely. Great interview as always Forrest…you should interview more look-krueng as there are a lot in Bangkok and will be very interesting to hear more of some of the insights of look-krueng of different countries ❤😊

  10. if I added up the amount of time you let her speak, it wouldn't be more than 3 to 5 minutes of this 34 minute monologue. zzzzzzzzzzz

  12. I was about to buy Rosetta stone with your affiliate link, but it doesn't include Thai!!!! You should say that when you pump it as many of your viewers might be interested in learning Thai above all.

  13. Great interview Forest. Can't wait for part two!!
There is definitely more to this story? How long have you been together? 555 You make a perfect couple (Sorry, I just had to say it)

  14. Hi Forrest, Does tourist attraction ticket office try to charge you Farang price? Surely Thai can distinguish Chinese and other eastern asians from Thai people. Haha

  15. One of the annoying aspects of visiting Thailand is their two tier pricing, one price for Thais and another higher price for Farang, often double what a Thai has to pay, even if that Thai is a multi-millionaire…I've always disliked this. I think it does a disservice to Thai people and make foreigners feels like "marks" in a scam.

More often than not, if you speak some Thai and can read Thai numbers you can have a chat with the shop keeper, be charming, make them laugh and more often than not they will waive the Farang tax. …but not always, some shop keepers are just stuck on this and can't be charmed so I too just walk away shaking my head.

A friend of mine who married a Thai and was selling cars in Australia. A young Thai couple came in to buy a car, my friend who speaks Thai, showed them around the various cars in the dealership. They chose a new car and asked the price. He said the price is $60K (which was twice the recommended retail price). They looked shocked and he said with a serious look on his face "well, there's an Australian price which is $30K but the price for foreigners is $60K…you're Thai so you are familiar with this dual price system aren't you so you understand!. "

…they really didn't appreciate the joke. lol ….

  16. I'm sure if she dyes her hair black, she will totally looked Thai..and Thailand is the only coutry in the world where the culture accepts bi-racial..

  17. Nice interview , for me the most difficult thing was the whole area knew me as my dad was the only foreigner in Latkrabang at the moment so anything I did my dad knew

  18. Wonderful to see you covering this difficult topic. It's great bringing these issues of discrimination that occur worldwide. My wife is Chinese and discrimination is even here in Victoria Canada, as the ignorant are everywhere. Great presentation with a polished young lady! Thanks Forrest!

  19. Thanks for sharing your story Jenny, it was really quite interesting to hear about your experiences as a mixed Thai Swedish girl as I'm a father of a Thai Swedish girl. I'd say you look mostly Thai and give of a Thai vibe but have more of a Swedish bone structure. I think you made a good choice going to Thailand. Wish you all the best.

  20. I have to says it's a very bad idea but it's normal it happened everywhere around the world my friend, I heard that even Disneyland in Paris the land of Happiness you still have to pay foreigner price if you're not a local and I heard from many of my friends that went to the USA and have to pay foreigner price too, even you just rent the car in the states if you're not a local you have to pay like double.

For my experience I went to studied in Christchurch New Zealand about 20+ years ago and I have to pay about a million Thai baht per year(us$30,000/year) just to studied in a very small school in a very rural area while the local New Zealand kids studied for free or nearly free.

For Thai price if you read in the rules you will see that they let you pay less because you already paid with your tax, and they just give this adventage to the Thai people who do not have a job or never do a job in Thailand too, it's not because you're Thai and pay less than foreigner but it's because the Thai people who have to pay the Tax every year they have to pay for you guys too. One day that you have a job and you'll have to pay the Tax too and that day you guys will realize that it's never worth it just for those stupid advantage, I bet most Thai who have to pay the tax would glad to pay the farang price too if they could and pay less tax. Lol
and for the people who do about crypto or even Defi or Nft you have to pay tax much more like crazy.

    Love your video.
Have a great time in Thailand guys.

  21. Quit bringing race subjects into the mix here Forrest. Thats such an American thing to do. Just like trans here in Thailand, race and issues of race are NON EXISTENT here, the way it should be.

It isn't interesting unless you are a democrat liberal Westerner. We come to Thailand to escape this stupid topic.

  22. Come on Forrest, how did you REALLY meet? 🤫🧐😛 I could definitely hear tiny bits of the Swedish accent while she was speaking but overall, seems like a lovely young woman! 👍

  23. She looks tall, the Swede in her is responsible for that…Also ask her, because of her deep voice tone, does she get mistaken for a lady boy?…I’m sure other Thai women make THAT assessment….Could make it hard for her to make friendships with local Bkk women ….need a second interview Forest….
