Sapporo and Hokkaido have always been very special to me. I cannot explain exactly but the people who live in Hokkaido are different from the larger cities like Tokyo and Osaka. I am not sure if it is due to the larger spacious areas and nature, or because of the harsh winters that the entire prefectural community seems to be much closer than in other prefectures, but something is definitely unique about Hokkaido.

Looks so nice there, I get what you mean about the different air in these kinds of areas. I think Okinawa is like that too, but different in a different way lol
