During the spring my wife and I went to Ashikaga Flower Park to see the wisteria blossoms. Ashikaga Flower Park is famous for its wisteria. The park has both some giant wisteria trees and younger trees that have been shaped into tunnels and canopies.

Ashikaga is an easy day trip from Tokyo. It is a short train ride from Oyama station, a major station north of Tokyo. The park has a large selection of flowers meaning that there is something to see almost every day of the year. However, it is wisteria that attracts the largest crowds. Wisteria has grown in popularity in Japan recently due to the hit anime Demon slayer

The weather turned rainy and we took shelter under a canopy and I took this video of the famous bridge.
