I went to see the Nagaoka Fireworks in Nagaoka City, Niigata Prefecture, which is considered one of the three major fireworks festivals in Japan.
It is a two-hour trip from Tokyo Station by Shinkansen bullet train.
I took pictures of the area around Nagaoka Station on the day of the event.
There were many food stalls and events, and we were even able to ride in a Self-Defense Forces vehicle.
