  1. Lot to small and too close toguether prefer a smaller house with Bigger lot ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

  2. My first thought was: I hope those railings inside are temporary. That would not be good for retired folks, too many stairs. Maybe remote workers?

  3. Beautiful multi-storey mansion ๐Ÿ˜ฑ
How much Troy for that place $$$$ ๐Ÿค‘๐Ÿ’ต ?

  4. Thanks for showing us the different types of living. Nice to see your family again

  5. Looks nice but it's not the real Vietnam. It will be soulless, I would feel lonely living in a place lie that..

  6. that sort of housing is in the west like Australia for decades and most of inhabitants drive cars in order to do everyday things. easy to get lost driving trough such places as all houses look very similar. people living in that places keep away from each other with no community atachments. even some biger places have their own security patrols like private police.

  7. Love the huge triple stairway townhouse – each floor its bigger and big, spacious and convenient ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿคฉ

  8. I figure dreamers and westerners would appreciate those homes but I would think traditionalist would not favor them very well.

  9. Was told a that if you are not a citizen of vi you cannot own property. Is that true?

  10. Unless one have not many choices, Gated communities concept is to keep residents safe. It's like living in a luxury prison without walls ๐Ÿ˜„ A trend in ASEAN countries where crime is a primary reason for Gated communities

  11. Better stick to the bamboo house with bigger land and bigger back yard. This house has no elevator, as you get older will be very difficult to climb 3 or 4 story house.

  12. Obviously larger more spacious than the places you video. Can see why some say to sterile. But the security of a gated community is a factor also. And not having to dodge rats when you could afford otherwise.

  13. I live in Los Angeles area and there are a lot of gated communities here. They charge a monthly fee, keep the aesthetics of the community up, and keep the riff raft out. They are popular (especially in Orange County) But I dislike them. I do not want to pay a monthly fee, I do not want to be told what color I have to paint my home, do not want to be told what I can do to my house. I actually do not mind that all the homes look alike, but I want my neighbor the ability to be able to paint his house any color he wants, even the dreaded purple, lol. I really dislike them.

  14. @Troy, it's a planned development/community. There are pro's and con's. Planned communities offer restrictions to prevent over-population and unruly behaviors. With over development and high density in HCMC, you experience daily congestion, pollution, noise, etc. This is similar to the suburbs in the US.

For Westerners, we are used to having space/personal space. Thanks for the cool video and sharing your experience.

  15. hi Bro, Could you make a separate Video for those people (as a foreigner) who want to buy a Small house (middle class people's house) made of one or two rooms(10*15 meter total area)in rural area on the local road. it should be 10 to 15 KM away from a big city. what would be the cost of it if I buy old house or if I buy new built house what will be the cost difference. I would be great thankful to you if you made one video for it, Thanks !

  16. Its not even finished. Its a building site and they are lettimg granny and children wondering around without elf & afety consideration in their bid to flog them off quickly and make big profit and churn out more of tje same. Whatever China does Vietnam follows. It is so depressing I dont know where to start….

  17. The prices are nuts and Vietnam is known for it's hilarious bad maintainance. You can see the cracks outside at the walls and paint already in the video.

I personally wouldn't like to live there even if I reach my retirement age someday. Vietnam has so much to offer in terms of community and social aspects and living in a kind of detached community destroys alot of these, which makes it worth living in VN. These are just ugly ghost towns, based on the model of chinese real estate investments.
