    I used to work with mexicans from puebla and eat mexican food for lunch everyday. A mexican guy used to drive around in his white van and sell mexican food and cerveza to all the workers. So we’d be drinking coronas and modelos during work. Good times.

    I don't frequent "hipster" spots (funny because I call it overpriced hipster food too), unless they offer something different. If you are selling basic street tacos and charging three times the price as an authentic street food vendor, I don't care how fancy the spot it, I'm not going to eat there more than once. This first spot, with the tuna tostada and chili oil, now that is some hipster food I'd eat, because you aren't going to find that anywhere else. I live close to there and I'm def putting that on my list to visit.

    Mexican foods are great. I don’t know why most Mexicans don’t like American made Mexican food but to me it tastes all the same lol. I’m not Mexican but I know they are some good and bad but I eat it and have no judgement about it. 😊

    NGL, I feel like if Anthony Bourdain was alive today, he would 100% make an episode of Mexican food in NYC just like this. All these deep cuts and the history and stories is what No Reservations was all about. The weird, the obscure, the unknowns. Love this episode.

And I think my dude got a little confused its "Jamaica" not "Jicama" the drink I'm so glad you got someone who's from the region but also represents the fusion of lots of different cultures 👍🏼💖 also was releasing it near independence day planned cause 👀
