We were excited to go to our first baseball game post-COVID, but the atmosphere wasn’t quite the same. Cheering and shouting were prohibited, so the synchronized cheers were played over a loudspeaker. The fans were encouraged to clap and bang their plastic cheering bats, but it didn’t have the same energy.
