This is NOT a promotional video. I pay for all of my flights and hotels (and I always tell you how much!) so I can be as honest and impartial as possible. I do not receive any special treatment that wouldn’t otherwise be publicly accessible, in fact, the hotels and airlines have no idea about my visit and that’s the way I like it!

  1. lovely flight report, i have fear of flying unfortunately im not a fan of A321 because turbulence can be felt much stronger on smaller aircrafts.

  2. Interesting that masks were still required. We flew Bamboo HAN – DAD a couple of days ago and they didn't bother 🤔

  3. Found the channel 2 days ago & already binged half of the content.
    FABULOUS.
    P. S. Please cover India. Lacks in Aviation variety but makes up in Resorts EX: Oberoi & Leela's.
    KEEP IT UP.

  4. I’ve been watching most of your videos lately.
Your witty and sometimes droll commentary is a big part of the fun, thank you.
Er … you were not wearing flip flops on this flight, does that constitute false advertising ??
    😜🤪😜

  5. Wow! The immigration entry hall was almost completely empty! When I entered in the new Terminal 3, I stood on line for about one hour and 20 minutes. On my next visit to Jakarta, I may pay a few extra dollars/rupiah for a “VIP“ reception service to speed up my passage through the immigration line.

  6. It’s also noteworthy that post Covid, this flight only goes 3 or 4 times per week (it used to be daily) which is also spiking the price. Recently, I looked and VN wanted nearly $400 for a one way in economy. Meanwhile, For about $50 more, Singapore was offering the flight in biz (only a 2hr stop in SIN)—crazy! It’s also odd that Garuda—another sky team member—doesn’t fly up here. It must be something political.

  7. A great video and there you get a new subscriber! I don’t think it’s so pricey particularly when you know the one way economy fares from Singapore to Jakarta on Singapore Airlines is always above $600 for a flight less than 1.5 hours and the catering is mediocre.

  8. Good and honest review, and I agree with you. But once I fly with VNA. They had IFE and you need to connect to wifi to access the IFE.

  9. Also, why did you need to pay for a visa to enter Indonesia for such a short period? I thought even after Covid, most nationalities were visa exempt unless you wanted to pay for an extendable visa.

  10. How come i didnt know/notice that there's an actual golf club in the airport? Well, i know for a fact that 1 exist in DMK, saw it with my own eyes several times. Such a shame on me as indonesian.

  11. The seat is hard cushion and the length from back to front is short.and you feel inadequate to lie your bottom…feel uncomfortable as you rest your bottom.tend to slide down forward.i'll never fly VN again.Did you notice that?

  12. A lot of travel bloggers are indistinguishable from ads. Thank you for being different. Your advice sounds like I'm hearing it from a friend, not a script.
While living in Ha Noi we flew VN a few times. They where usually ok but in a crowded industry they need to do more to stand out.
Your 100% right about the LCC influence; Ha Noi – Bangers visa runs where so cheap and convenient
During covid we experienced a real difference; some acted like greedy corporates (VN and QANTAS) but some where doing their best in difficult circumstances (EVA and surprisingly PAL)
Do you have anything coming on AirAsia or Bamboo Airways? Travel is opening up but some things have changed

  13. To be honest theres not much demand between vietnam and indonesia. Both countries are not commercially nor tourism-ly closely connected. Vietnam and Indonesia are similar wise in exporting working population. You can see similarity between Phillipines and Indonesia routes

  14. i flew saigon to bkk on vietjet. luggage cost more than the ticket. coulnt get a free glass of water
