  4. The Red Duck was a great place to eat. The owner owns part of the building and was always talking about trying to get the guesthouse part opened again. Too bad. Oh, I think there are still some good food stalls across from the Mini Big C and 7-11 (up by the Pomodoro).

  5. So nice to see a video of a side road, I've passed through the area many times but never stopped. Thank you Tony for a another pleasant video. Hope you will do more of these walkabouts in Kata/Karon area which we really love.

  6. It's amazing how the actions of governments around the world managed to destroy businesses and people's livelihoods with lockdowns

  7. Helloo there, i have stayed at the Palmery last year octobre it was very good. No issues there. Also i have eaten at the red Chair restaurant, also very good. So this soi has very good options for food and accomodation. Glad to see they did something to the sidewalk. It looks a lot better.

  8. I know Thailand about 40 years. Alone in Phuket , I have stayed in Kata for many years . What I can say , your informations are better , then from the most Media and Tourist Companies ! Thank you very much for this Video !!! ( from an old german man )

  9. If you are planning on staying at the Palmery resort, I would recommend staying at the Blu pine villa instead. It’s overall a much better experience, just don’t expect the best breakfast in the world 🙂
