Hiking To Hakubao Pond | Hakuba, Japan

Hakubao Pond can be found in Hakuba, Japan in the Nagano Prefecture. I highly recommend this hike for the great views and its such a nice place to go camping at. I know if you’re watching the video my exposure is pretty bright! I’m sorry and I fixed the issue with my camera. I just had to show the best of what I got of this area. How to get here: I recommend driving to Hakuba and park at Tsugaike Central Parking Lot.

Then taking the Tsugaike Gondola Lift.

Then you will walk a little bit to reach the last transportation the Tsugaike ropeway station.

From there you’ll hike for about 4-5 hours to Hakubao Pond and you can camp or even stay at the lodge! definitely book ahead here. But if you want more to explore there’s plenty of peaks throughout that trail!
