I came to Takasaki of Gunma prefecture for the fireworks festival but found that the whole day was full of different events.
Also, the weather forecast said there would be rain in the evening so to have more fun during the day I wore my yukata. Unfortunately, the forecast was wrong, it started raining in the very beginning of the walk and stopped near the end 🤷‍♂️
I started from Takasaki station south entrance, visited Takasaki food stalls which were lining up to the horizon. Found a mikoshi event and later dashi. Listened to an old guy on the stage playing shamisen in the rain. Watched several Yosakoi dancing groups (unfortunately some music was not original, and it had to be muted). In the end I returned to the station.
Later there will be Takasaki night video with fireworks🎇

  1. Hi Rambalac. Why does the information sometimes contain English, sometimes German? You have to decide 😀 Viele Grüße aus Deutschland. Greetings from Germany

  2. Oh, this time rain should really have waited till next day – all the dashi, mikoshi, and guys in beautiful costumes and festive yukatas 👘 deserved sun shining brightly! But people seemed to have a good time anyway, enjoying festival and tempting food 😃😋. Rambalac – san, we hope your yukata got dry again for the fireworks 💦🎆 !?

  3. 猫の天敵を食べていますww(きゅうり)ほかの祭りの動画にも見ました

  4. Walking tour in this rainy weather is very enjoyable
This must be one of the biggest festivals in Japan
Is this festival held in other cities in Japan?

  5. Why the masks..so ill and sad..thx for the video, i really like to look far away …greetings from germany

  6. There are tons of places I want to shoot in Gunma, including Takasaki, so I want to go there as soon as possible 😊 Thank you again for the beautiful and wonderful footage this time ✨

  7. nice too see this but i goto say it it spoils with mask on can not see the people smile its a shame they need to stop this now gone on too long

  8. I'm so happy to see the Japanese street scene again, thank you for sharing

  9. Moving through those crowds as best you can. Respect. I know the two are inseparable, but I'd rather see the landscape or city more than the crowds. Just one person's opinion.

  10. I think you don't like to stay in one place for too long, but thank you for watching the women performers at the end of the video. Japanese people are so calm and reserved in their applause. I would like to scream out for their hard work and dedication to the festival.

  11. Lindo video, gracias por mostrarnos parte de la muy apreciada cultura japonesa, por lo que veo es un festival que atrae a muchas personas, y algo digno de emular que nadie arroja basura a las calles. Gracias.
