Celebrating old eras 7/7. Japanese celebrate odd numbers of months a same number of days like 1/1, 3/3, 5/5, and 7/7.
And this day is from a famous Japanese fairy tale.
There is man and women who lived in each star. But after they met, they didn’t do their work.
So the god of every star decides they could meet once a year at 7/7.
So the day was made special for them. And the bright sky well because of their happiness.
Japanese traditional custom is writing their desire on paper and decorating on bamboo.
Why bamboo? I also googled it. Bamboo has strong bactericidal action. Thus, in the summer people use it as a decoration tree.
