London walk started from the Ritz hotel in Mayfair, right next to Green Park tube station. Green Park is the smallest of London’s eight Royal Parks. Although there isn’t any lake or fancy statue, Green Park has many beautiful trees and grassland offering you time to chill in the middle of the bustling Mayfair area.

Exiting from the Green Park to the south, you can see Buckingham Palace, home of Queen Elizabeth II and her family. You could only see from outside but still, lots of tourists gather around it to see the royal residence. You can see the golden statue and fountain, Victoria Memorial, which is a monument commemorating the death of Queen Victoria in 1901.

My London walking continues to St.James’s Park, another Royal Parks of London and you can see royal swans (FYI, Queen Elizabeth II owns all the swans in England. And a bunch of other animals too.) and Pelicans. The first Pelicans were gifted to King Charles II by a Russian ambassador in 1664, (so it’s been over 350 years) and today’s pelicans are the descendants of the original arrivals. Towards the end of the walk, I just chill and people watching so hope you can relax there as well!
