‘Cherry blossoms of Yoshino’ was already well known in Heian period (794-1185.) Year after year, blossoms of whopping 30,000 cherry trees create the most ethereal grandeur on Mt. Yoshino in Nara Prefecture, which is a part of the Sacred Sites and Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
